Senior Observability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Observability Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect scalable, secure, and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead the adoption of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools, including Dynatrace, with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Develop onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
