Synthetic Monitoring Expert Wanted

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

We are seeking a senior observability professional with expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), synthetic monitoring, and Dynatrace to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Scalable Synthetic Monitoring Platforms
  • Lead Dynatrace Adoption and Standardization
  • Define Onboarding Strategies for Cloud, Hybrid, and Edge Telemetry Sources
  • Integrate Observability Tooling for Unified Insights
  • Evaluate Emerging Technologies and Develop Custom Solutions
  • Contribute to Open-Source or Internal Observability Tooling/Standards
  • Drive Documentation, Training, and Knowledge Sharing
  • Collaborate with Application Teams to Embed Synthetic Monitoring
  • Partner with Security Teams on Compliance and Governance

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and synthetic monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Catchpoint, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
