Cloud Database Specialist Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Specialist to join our organization. As a fresher, you will have the opportunity to learn and assist in managing, monitoring, and optimizing databases hosted on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision, configure, and maintain cloud-hosted databases.
  • Monitor database performance and availability using cloud-native tools.
  • Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are implemented and adhered to.
  • Support migration of databases to the cloud from on-premises systems.
  • Assist in creating users, roles, and permission policies for database access.
  • Troubleshoot basic database issues with guidance from senior DBAs.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps and development teams for database-related needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP) and their database offerings.
  • Knowledge of database backup, restore, and disaster recovery fundamentals.
  • Awareness of database security best practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner / Azure Fundamentals / Google Cloud Digital Leader) will be an added advantage.
