We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team, responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data on a regular basis.
  • Prepare comprehensive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Deliver expert tax compliance services, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns (income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, etc.) in adherence to IRS guidelines.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with US tax regulations, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide valuable tax planning advice, minimizing tax liabilities while maximizing legal deductions for clients.
  • Analyze and resolve tax notices and correspondence, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Offer strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Support cross-border taxation and advisory services, providing insights on withholding taxes, foreign investments, and treaty benefits where applicable.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through regular updates on financial performance and tax obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide holistic financial and compliance services.

Key qualifications include:

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or EA qualification is preferred but not mandatory; candidates pursuing certification are welcome.
  • Professional experience: 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of US taxation and accounting practices are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, Lacerte).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

Competitive compensation package includes a salary range of ₹10 LPA to ₹20 LPA + Incentive (Based on Candidate).
