Key Role Summary

This diverse role requires a highly commercial and analytical individual who is prepared to get hands dirty. It combines responsibility for managing the finance function and acting as an analyst for multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of audit of internal financial control over financial reporting, preparing internal audit report. Statutory audit, revenue audit, preparation of TDS return and income tax return with support from local advisors.
  • Responsible for all accounting related issues.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.
  • Financial reporting and budgeting, reporting to the management.
  • Review company financial reports seeking ways to reduce costs and manage budget.
  • Responsible for controlling income, cash flow and expenditure. Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
  • Developing strategies to minimize financial risk.
  • Responsible for preparing and managing the process of procurement, stock/inventory, maintaining records of debtors and creditors.
  • Responsible for payroll management.
  • Responsible for preparing and analysing monthly MIS.
  • Responsible for providing ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of company etc.

Commercial Analyst - Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for both Indian business and wider UK/International business:

  • Daily sales reporting.
  • Analysing financial data creating/maintaining financial models for decision support.
  • Reporting on financial performance preparing for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analysing past results performing variance analysis identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Representing Finance within UK Commercial team ensuring that business planning, accounting and control are integrated into decision-making process within Commercial function.
  • Participating in Finance and multi-function project teams.
  • Working closely with CFO and Financial Controller ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements including creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards.
  • Benchmarking analysis.
  • Preparing business cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong English language skills.
  • Qualified accountant.
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical experience preferable.
  • International company experience.
  • Management experience including liaison with internal and external stakeholders such as senior management, auditors, suppliers, banks, insurance providers, contractors etc.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Self-disciplined results-focused with 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to work meeting strict deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Power BI and CRM systems.
