About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Security Incident Investigator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and investigating security incidents, as well as providing technical guidance and support to incident response teams.


Responsibilities
  • Analyze logs and system data to identify potential security threats
  • Triage SIEM alerts to determine the severity of the threat
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to develop and implement incident response plans
  • Perform research and analysis to identify trends and patterns in security incidents
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident response and investigation
  • Provide training and support to other team members on security incident investigation and response procedures

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in security incident investigation and response
  • Proficiency in log analysis tools such as Splunk and ELK
  • Experience with SIEM systems and alert triage
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Unix environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
