As a Meetings and Events Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the execution of meetings and events at our property. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Manager in driving the implementation of brand service strategies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing meetings and special events operations
- Research and analyze new products, pricing, and services of competition
- Review scheduled events and troubleshoot potential challenges and conflicts
Additional responsibilities include overseeing cleaning and maintenance of meeting spaces and corresponding back-of-house areas, assisting with budgeting and finances, and creating an atmosphere that meets or exceeds guest expectations.
RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required, 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related field. OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, 1 year experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related field.
