About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about accounting and compliance, eager to work in a structured environment.

You will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.

  • Handle daily accounting tasks like accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management information system (MIS) reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
  • Support audits with proper documentation
  • Generate reports as needed by management
  • Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment
  • Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
  • Follow accounting standards and organizational policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, must have worked under a chartered accountant or in a chartered accountant firm
  • Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other enterprise resource planning tools is a plus)
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (food and vegetable domain is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools
