Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the high quality of our products by leading the QA team and collaborating with engineers to understand product architecture.

  • Lead the QA team to deliver high-quality products and provide continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of quality features.
  • Raise the bar for quality processes on every release and take ownership of release deliverables.
  • Generate QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
  • Deploy microservices applications in Engineering environment and support the SRE team for production releases.
  • Improve processes for test plan reviews and ensure thoroughness of test scenarios.
Key Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products and leading teams of 3-5 engineers.
  • Experience with public or private Cloud platforms, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certification in cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Hands-on experience in functional UI and API automation.
  • Linux knowledge is essential.
  • Good understanding of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB is beneficial.
