Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Team Lead to oversee our data center networking operations, leveraging 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloud Network Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, maintain, and manage physical and Software Defined Networking (SDN) frameworks.
  2. Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  3. Update infrastructure documentation through regular maintenance, auditing, reviewing, and updating.
  4. Collaborate with team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. Lead a team of Network Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise where needed. Evaluate team members' performance periodically and provide feedback.
  6. Monitor key performance and capacity metrics, analyzing trends to assess risks and business impact.
  7. Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals for cloud network infrastructure.
  8. Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof of Concept.

Requirements:

This role requires proven experience and hands-on technical expertise, along with managerial capabilities. We will evaluate your application based on the following criteria:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer, etc.
  • Strong understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and Quality of Service (QoS).
  • Familiarity with SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience with any one of the SDN providers – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco, etc.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience leading a team of minimum 4 people in this role.
