Tax Staff Job Overview

As a Tax Staff member, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax workpapers and returns for partnerships in federal and state jurisdictions. This role requires strong technical skills in tax preparation, research, and planning.

  • Prepare tax workpapers and returns for partnerships (FS/Non-FS) federal and state jurisdictions;
  • Review federal and state tax returns for Corporate Taxation (1120 /1120S);
  • Assess US Individual (1040) Taxation requirements;
  • Apply Subchapter K rules;
  • Identify common tax issues and develop solutions;
  • Develop key tax strategies and planning opportunities;
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional results;
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff members;
  • Maintain proficiency in CCH, CaseWare, and internal tools.

This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
