Product Development Manager: Apparel

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity to lead the development of apparel products that meet customer needs and drive sales growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a product assortment strategy that aligns with our brand identity and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trend Forecasting and Planning: Stay ahead of fashion trends by collaborating with design teams and identifying new product opportunities.
  • Buying Decisions and Vendor Management: Make informed purchasing choices, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop competitive pricing models in line with market trends and our business goals.
  • Sales Analysis: Regularly review sales data, adjust strategies, and report findings to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing and other teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in apparel buying and product development.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and product planning software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
