Job Description

As a Medical Writer, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your scientific expertise and writing skills to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients worldwide.

This role requires a strong understanding of medical science, as well as excellent language skills and the ability to adapt your writing style to different materials and target audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials, including slides, abstracts, manuscripts, pre & post congress and meetings materials.
  • Liaise with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, internal and external stakeholders to anticipate their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in therapeutic areas or disciplines and apply this knowledge to create cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.
  • Share best practices and client preferences with the team to contribute to skill development within the medical communications department.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Clear, concise, scientific style of writing, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
