Job Description">

Our organization requires a skilled Machinery Maintenance Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines and be familiar with food technology processes such as mixing and drying.

  • Operate and monitor machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain product quality standards during machine operations in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as required.
  • Report and escalate equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities promptly.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment following Good Hygienic Practices (GHP) and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and regulatory guidelines.
  • The ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to SOPs.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, QA, and maintenance teams.
