The position available is for a Condition Monitoring Engineer

Job Description:

Provide engineer-level support on the condition monitoring of rotating equipment.

Use various condition monitoring techniques like vibration, oil analysis, thermography, videoscopy, etc. to monitor rotating equipment health.

Analyse online and offline data acquisition techniques to identify maintenance needs and prevent major breakdowns.

Support reliability improvement plans and initiatives based on condition monitoring parameters.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rotating equipment condition by tracking, analyzing and identifying developing faults and defects.

Ensure rotating equipment condition meets associated standards and procedures.

Accountabilities:

  1. Carry out detailed analysis of condition-based data.
  2. Monitor and analyse condition monitoring, vibration oil analysis, wear particle, thermography, etc.
  3. Identify inherent conditions leading to rotating equipment failure through various operational machine condition monitoring parameters.
  4. Prepare corrective actions recommendation on observed fault, defect initial damage report to maintenance, follow up and closing.
  5. Aim to prevent failure of rotating equipment using all possible condition monitoring data information analytical tools.
  6. Monitor and track rotating equipment condition in terms of failures bad actors on cost and count and identify corrective and Preventive actions.
  7. Compliance to best maintenance practices of PdM PM LLF, Lubrication Equipment change over and corrective maintenance.
  8. Provide update review support for best condition monitoring practice documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Accredited Vibration Analysis training Cat I.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring data systems like CSI Emerson SKF and GE System1 SmartSignal.
  • Familiarisation with various vibration standards.
  • Basic understanding of rotor dynamics, mechanical design, equipment function, and construction.
