As a key member of our technology team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.

 

About the Role:

 

This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality assurance and a strong background in test automation.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Testing Strategy Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
  • Defect Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • System Testing: Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability and scalability.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies in test automation.

 

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Cloud-Based Testing: Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools.
  • Certification: Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
