SQL Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to lead our database team. As a Senior SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient transactional and analytical data models.
The ideal candidate will have 9-12 years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA Lead or similar role. You will work closely with application developers to perfect and maintain databases, troubleshoot issues, supply ad-hoc data reporting, and manage routine data exports.
Main Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot database and data issues as they occur.
- Optimize and keep backup jobs and schedules.
- Maintain Production, DR, and Development environments.
- Document data collection, processing, and presentation procedures.
Technical Requirements:
- Advanced skills in database design, development, security, backup, recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to mentor junior DBAs and communicate with stakeholders and clients.
- Setup Test, Dev, Staging, and Production Environments.
- Create Linked Servers to SQL Servers and other databases.
- Design database Backup and Restoration Strategy.
- Set up high availability as part of Disaster Recovery Strategy.
