We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SQL Server environments, including monitoring and maintaining databases, performing backups and restores, and configuring database settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor SQL Server health and performance
  • Perform database maintenance tasks (backups, restores, indexing)
  • Carry out database installation, configuration, and patching
  • Respond to basic support tickets related to database issues
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and troubleshoot failures
  • Educate others on best practices for database administration

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MS SQL Server administration, as well as hands-on experience in database backups, restores, and indexing. Experience with job monitoring and troubleshooting is also highly desirable. Familiarity with automation tools or scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL) and enterprise monitoring tools is a plus.

This is a contract role based in Mumbai, requiring on-site presence. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
