Expert Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our quality assurance efforts and bring cutting-edge software testing methodologies to our products.

Job Description:

As a key member of our Engineering function, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated testing frameworks, working with our Mobile teams, and contributing to the development of new features.

Requirements:

  • Theory of software testing is essential.
  • You should be comfortable developing test automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining existing frameworks.
  • At least 6 years of experience in software testing, manual and automated.
  • Strong experience in different testing practices (unit to load to endurance to cross-platform) specifically integrated within CI/CD.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Kibana, Grafana).
  • Knowledge with Bitbucket, K8s, Docker.
  • UI testing, REST protocol, and microservice architecture expertise are required.
  • Mobile QA Engineering requirements: Espresso, XCUITest.
  • Testrail, Bitrise, Jenkins.
  • Charles Proxy.
  • Postman and API testing skills (e.g., Rest Assured).
  • BrowserStack.
  • Java/Kotlin and Swift programming skills with CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
  • Able to work in an agile environment, Scrum principles applied.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership and responsibility for testing design and development.
  • Work on acceptance criteria and test scenarios with Product Owner and development team.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and automation capabilities for all test levels and types.
  • Create and optimize test frameworks, integrate them into deployment pipelines.
  • Participate in code review process for production and test code.
  • Monitoring test runs, application errors, and performance.
  • Maintaining information flow and being a stakeholder in releases and defect tracking.
  • Sharing best testing practices across the project.
  • Promoting quality-focused mindset and continuous improvement.
  • Influencing team towards quality-focused mindset.
