Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Lead to drive the development and execution of our automation testing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data.
  • Design and implement automated tests for new system features and enhancements.
  • Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation.
  • Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date.
  • Identify and report questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies to product teams.
  • Document and mentor QA engineers in the use of testing frameworks.
  • Assist in identifying, selecting, and implementing tools and technologies that support the overall QA process.
  • Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development.
  • Strong knowledge of Defect Management, Bug life cycle, and Performance management is required.
  • Excellent debugging skills to identify test failures and trace to failing code.
  • Experience building automation frameworks for web-based software as well as on mobile platforms.
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming languages for automation.
  • Integrate automated testing into a Jenkins CI/CD framework.
  • SQL skills and/or data validation expertise is beneficial.
  • Ability to articulate and drive sustainable processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to pitch ideas and test new approaches.
  • Extensive knowledge on coding standards implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide the team on solution creation, PoC, prototyping, problem solving, and consulting engagements.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing and leadership roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
