Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer with strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems, equipment selections, specifications, and processes for commercial, industrial, and domestic projects.Key Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Create detailed technical construction drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems using computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, Dialux).
  • Project Execution: Perform detailed calculations and prepare technical specifications, sequence of operations, and details for projects based on customer requirements and existing conditions.
  • Code Compliance: Stay up-to-date with codes and standards, including NYC Building Code, International Codes, Electrical Code, Energy Code, NFPA Standards, and ASHRAE Standards.
  • Review and Assessment: Review design concepts, calculations, and drawings to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Engineering Support: Assess engineering submittals, shop drawings, and construction administration procedures to provide timely support during the project's construction phase.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop training modules, calculation procedures, and company tools used in design and execution. Train young engineers to follow standards and improve performance.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with clients, project managers, and vendors to ensure on-time project delivery as per schedule and requirements.
  • Budgeting and Estimation: Prepare cost estimations and Bills of Materials based on design concepts.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience working with building services.
  • Team handling experience.
  • International project experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
