Job Title: Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for preparing a wide range of pastry and dessert items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.

• This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
• You will be assigned a specific station within the bakery where you will be responsible for preparing and presenting menu items, including pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats.
• In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be required to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• This role offers the opportunity to work independently, as part of a close-knit team, and may involve early morning shifts, variable hours, or weekend work as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar bakery or pastry production environment, preferably within a high-end hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service.
• Proven knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles, including decorating and finishing techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external clients.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety throughout the workplace.
