Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mern Stack Developer at Kairosoft AI Solutions Ltd in Mumbai. The Mern Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficient in Node.js and JavaScript​: Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with ES6+ features like Promises, Async/Await, and Modules.
  • Framework Knowledge: Proficiency in frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Database Management: Expertise in working with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
  • Proficient in writing complex queries, database optimization, and using ORMs (e.g., Mongoose, Sequelize).
  • RESTful API Development: Building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
  • Authentication and Authorization: Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and session management.
  • Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Version Control: Proficient in Git and GitHub/GitLab.
  • Unit Testing & Debugging: Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Jest, or Supertest.
  • Skilled at debugging and error handling.
  • Deployment: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience deploying applications on platforms like AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, or Heroku.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
  • Message Queues: Experience with tools like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS for asynchronous operations.
  • WebSocket/Real-time Communication: Understanding WebSockets or libraries like Socket.IO for real-time applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of event loop, clusters, and worker threads.
  • Skilled in identifying bottlenecks and optimizing Node.js applications.
  • Security Best Practices: Protecting against common vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.
  • Knowledge of data encryption and secure data storage.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
  • Familiarity with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or CouchDB.
  • Basic front-end knowledge for better API integration (e.g., React or Angular).

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is ₹ 15,00,000 - ₹ 20,00,000 per annum, based on industry standards and your experience.
