Overview

As a seasoned AWS data architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures on the AWS platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data solutions align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end data pipelines using AWS-native services such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Implement data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines following best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Define and implement data governance, security, access controls, and data lifecycle management in AWS.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the AWS ecosystem to improve data infrastructure.
  • Support data modeling, data integration, and metadata management.
  • Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support ongoing development and operations.

Requirements:

8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing data architectures on AWS.

Strong understanding of AWS native services such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS.

Experience with data governance, security, access controls, and data lifecycle management in AWS.
