Senior AWS Glue Developer Position

A forward-thinking Senior AWS Glue Developer is required to lead our data ingestion and transformation efforts.

  • We are looking for a skilled professional to design and build metadata-driven integration systems that support rapid onboarding of new services.

In this role, you will work with our team to develop a data-centric approach that aligns with the Gartner approach on data transformation. This includes introducing DBT along with AWS Glue to enable a true DataOps way of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build serverless and AWS ecosystem-based data pipelines to support data ingestion and transformation.
  • Migrate clients towards ELT from ETL in line with Gartner recommendations.
  • Develop metadata-driven integration systems for rapid onboarding of new services.
  • Implement DBT along with AWS Glue to enhance data operations capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation and integration concepts.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.
