Job Overview:

We seek a skilled Legal Associate with 2+ years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial contracts, corporate legal matters, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong legal acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to support company operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Consultancy Agreements.
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.

Corporate & Internal Policies:

  • Draft and revise internal company policies, employee handbooks, and compliance protocols in alignment with current laws and best practices.

Legal Notices & Compliance Support:

  • Draft legal notices and respond to queries or notices from statutory and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on issues involving regulatory and statutory compliance.

Legal Research & Advisory:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on corporate, commercial, and technology law issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal legal memoranda and risk assessments.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: LLB from a recognized university (mandatory).
  • Experience: Min. 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant legal role.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Exposure to corporate restructuring, venture capital transactions, and startup ecosystem legalities.
  • Strong understanding of Indian Contract Act, Companies Act, and data protection laws.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail, organisational ability, and a sense of ownership.
