About the Role:

Our company seeks a seasoned finance professional to join our Finance team as a Financial Strategist.

This critical role requires collaboration with Senior Management to devise and execute financial strategies, ensuring long-term company stability and success.

Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day financial operations, optimizing processes, and contributing to organizational growth and financial health.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance in multiple locations.
  • Supervise AR/AP, Payroll, tax, and statutory compliance operations.
  • Provide stakeholders (CEO, Board members, external agencies) with comprehensive financial visibility through dashboards and regular reports on yearly, quarterly, and monthly performance.
  • Forecast cash flow, assess borrowing needs, and determine available funds for expenses and investments.
  • Assist in preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets at both organizational and functional levels.
  • Report budget variances to management, providing detailed explanations for discrepancies.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including payroll partners, banks, legal advisors, and government offices.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in finance roles, preferably within small to medium-sized companies or technology startups with global reach.
  • In-depth knowledge of US & Indian GAAP, with practical experience in global finance practices, including those of the US & EU.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, navigating ambiguity and addressing new challenges encountered by you or your team.
