Job Opportunity

This role involves overseeing project cost control initiatives to ensure overall capital expenditure aligns with approved budgets and providing management reporting on project progress.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring funding of project commitments as per schedule, engaging with teams for financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Proper accounting for project costs, assets capitalization, and inventory management is crucial in understanding the true cost of projects.

Ongoing optimization of state incentives, documentation, representation, and transfer pricing is required for compliance in inter-company transactions.

Collaboration with treasury teams for ECA and debt financing at optimized costs is essential.

We are seeking a qualified professional who can effectively manage these responsibilities and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Accounting and Capitalisation:

Ensure accurate accounting of element-wise and stream-wise project costs, common cost allocation, finalisation of transfer pricing for inter-company transactions, and asset capitalisation.

Project Financing:

Partner with treasury and banking teams for ECA and debt financing at optimised costs.

Inventory Management:

Continuously monitor project inventories, collaborate with PMC's/sub-contractors, and perform inventory reconciliations.

Incentive Optimisation:

Optimise state incentives, represent to government, file documents and information with government as per policy, and design systems in line with incentive policy requirements.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify and assess financial risks, develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively and efficiently, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance.

Policies, Processes and Procedures:

Create standard policies, processes, and procedures that align with business objectives, and monitor their adherence so work is carried out in a controlled manner.

People Management:

Mentor and develop respective teams to take larger responsibilities and efficiently perform their roles.
