Automation Opportunities with NMS Testing

  • This role is ideal for individuals with extensive experience in testing and software development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies and tools, with a focus on automation.
  • Experience in NMS/EMS domain testing, preferably in Optical Transportation Network, is highly desirable. Knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect management processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in Python programming is required, as the candidate will be responsible for creating test suits and test cases using Python scripting.
  • Working experience with FCAP (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Provisioning) is preferred. Experience with alarm and configuration management concepts, as well as Netconf and SNMP protocols, is also beneficial.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create test suits and test cases using Python scripting.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python Robot framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 4-9 years of experience in testing.
  • NMS/EMS domain experience, preferably in Optical Transportation Network.
  • Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect management processes.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with FCAP (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Provisioning).
  • Knowledge of alarm and configuration management concepts.
  • Experience with Netconf and SNMP protocols.
