Embedded Systems Developer

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Systems Developer to join our team.

  • About the role:
  • The Embedded Systems Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in development and troubleshooting on embedded targets, solid programming skills in C or C, and proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
  • A strong understanding of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems is also essential.
  • Bonus points for experience with NXP iMX8 SoC, Car Infotainment system (Wifi, Bluetooth, USB Setup), and Touch Display systems.

Required skills:

  • Programming languages: C or C
  • Operating systems: Pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • Development tools: Software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, peer review
  • Hardware knowledge: Reading schematics and data sheets for components
  • Other skills: Excellent documentation and writing skills
