About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Systems Developer to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software for microcontroller- or microprocessor-based systems. Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and develop embedded software for microcontroller or SoC platforms (ARM, AVR, etc.)

- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable C/C++ code for real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal environments

- Interface and integrate embedded systems with peripherals (sensors, actuators, displays, communication modules)

- Implement and optimize communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi

- Develop device drivers and firmware to support custom hardware platforms

- Debug, test, and validate embedded hardware/software using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system validation to ensure functional accuracy and robustness

- Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure proper hardware-software integration

- Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and documentation

- Continuously optimize performance, power consumption, and memory usage of embedded systems

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

- 3- 6 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems

- Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX) and/or bare-metal firmware development

- Good understanding of microcontroller architecture (ARM Cortex-M, AVR, etc.)

- Experience with communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.)

- Proficient in using debugging tools like JTAG, SWD, and oscilloscopes

- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git)

- Ability to read hardware schematics and work with electronics lab tools

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills :

- Experience with Embedded Linux or Yocto development

- Familiarity with IoT platforms and cloud integration (AWS IoT, Azure IoT)

- Experience with wireless protocols (Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa)

- Exposure to Python or scripting for test automation

- Hands-on experience with tools like Keil, IAR, STM32CubeIDE, MPLAB X, or Segger J-Link
