Job Opportunity:

As a skilled Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building applications to meet business requirements. This key role involves collaborating with team members to understand project specifications, develop application features, and ensure seamless integration within the existing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of application development methodologies, proficiency in Cobol Mainframe, IBM Db2, IBM IMS Database, and Job Control Language (JCL). Experience with debugging and performance tuning of applications, familiarity with version control systems, and knowledge of database management and data integration techniques are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert
- Collaborate and manage teams to perform tasks effectively
- Make informed decisions for the team
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
- Provide solutions to problems across teams
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Continuously assess and improve application development processes for increased efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe, IBM Db2, IBM IMS Database, and JCL
- Strong understanding of application development methodologies
- Experience with debugging and performance tuning of applications
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools
- Knowledge of database management and data integration techniques
- Minimum 3 years' experience with IMS DB and DB2

Professional Requirements:
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe
- 15 years full-time education required
- Collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders
