Social Media Associate Role

Key aspects of this position involve building authentic relationships, managing online reputation and ensuring a positive brand presence across social platforms.

The ideal candidate will engage with followers by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely and brand-consistent manner.

  • Responsibilities include fostering a helpful, friendly and interactive online community through starting conversations, answering queries and acknowledging feedback.
  • Monitoring customer reviews and user sentiment across social media platforms is also essential.
  • The successful candidate will manage Online Reputation (ORM) by tracking brand mentions, addressing concerns and mitigating negative feedback with empathy and professionalism.
  • Supporting community-building initiatives such as live interactions, polls, contests and user-generated content campaigns is another key responsibility.

The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in community management, social media or online reputation roles. Excellent written communication skills are required, along with deep familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

  • Proficiency with Canva or other visual tools to support engagement content creation is highly desirable.
