Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomist to join our team at Rise Hydroponics - Future of Farming. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as plant nutrition analysis, irrigation management, pest management, conducting training sessions, and ensuring optimal growth conditions for various crops in hydroponic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct plant nutrition analysis and develop strategies for optimal crop growth
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and crop health
- Develop and implement pest management plans to minimize crop losses
- Conduct training sessions for farmers and agricultural professionals on hydroponic systems and crop cultivation
- Conduct research on crop cultivation and develop new techniques for improving crop yields and quality
Requirements
- Soilless hydroponics cultivation, plant nutrition, and pest management skills
- Experience in conducting research on crop cultivation - Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Cucumber, etc.
- Irrigation management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field
