We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Associate to join our team. As an audit professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients within the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with senior auditors and partners to plan and execute audit engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulations, and firm policies.
  • Your duties will include conducting audits of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance programs.

The position requires strong technical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Reviewing and auditing the financial statements of UK-based enterprises to ensure adherence to legal accounting requirements.
  • Participating in statutory audit work preparation with a good understanding of all phases.
  • Performing end-to-end audit functions for entities across sectors, including small and medium companies.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Conducting planning, organizing, and executing audit engagements for various clients.
  • Performing substantive testing and analytical procedures to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Documenting audit procedures performed, findings, and conclusions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identifying control deficiencies and providing recommendations for improving clients' internal control systems and financial processes.

Desired Competencies & Software Expertise:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in end-to-end audit for UK clients.
  • Proficiency in audit software (CaseWare, Wolters Kluwer CCH Audit, etc.).
  • Experience in using accounting applications (IRIS, Sage, Xero, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and relevant regulations.
