Role & Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership : As our new team lead, you'll provide technical guidance to a talented team of software engineers, requiring a deep understanding of complex design decisions and the ability to lead by example.

Execution and Delivery : You'll be expected to instill and follow good software development practices, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Familiarity with agile practices and adapting them to the business needs is essential.

Team Management : You'll be responsible for hiring and mentoring your team, fostering growth, and providing regular feedback on performance.

Ideal Candidate :

Technical Depth :

Strong technical competence to gain credibility, ability to architect, design, and code, technical experience in building and operating web-based applications, deep understanding of the web-stack, knowledge of multiple technology stacks/languages/tools, and their pros/cons.

Execution Ability :

Focus on delivering products in a timely manner with high quality, familiarity with multiple software development practices and tools, and the proven ability to adapt, champion, and institute good practices and tools.

A degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and fundamentals of computer science, strong problem-solving skills, data structures, and algorithms, strong hands-on technology experience building and running large-scale systems, and 6+ years of previous software industry experience.

2+ years of dedicated engineering management experience, strong interpersonal skills to drive the roadmap execution across different geographies, product, and functional teams, experience crafting products powered by data and insights, and deep understanding of building cloud-native apps on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
