We are a Product Development Division, operating our primary Software business. At our organization, we develop, market, sell, and support over 20 product families in the areas of customer experience, digital solutions, secure devops, security & automation.

Summary:

We seek an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP) within our HCL Cloud Product team. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience with the following skills:

  • Proficiency with public cloud core infrastructure services for AWS, Microsoft Azure Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate application requirements into cloud architecture/infrastructure, deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures.

Select appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements.

Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and firewalls).

Migrate on-premises workload to cloud service providers.

Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, or Terraform.

Troubleshoot distributed systems.

Deliver and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.

Experience monitoring and auditing systems.

Define and document best practices and strategies regarding infrastructure maintenance.

Provision and configure cloud resources in a multi-cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP). Proficiency in one of these environments is required, intermediate knowledge in the other two is desirable.

Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.

Skills in API usage, command-line interface, and SDKs for writing applications. Ability to code to implement essential security measures.

Extensive experience with at least one operating system: Linux, Ubuntu, Windows.
