Senior Logistics Leader - India Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned senior leader to head our India operations, responsible for driving growth and scale across logistics services.

About the Role:

  • This position involves full P&L ownership, overseeing freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and project logistics.
  • The successful candidate will develop and execute a pan-India strategy aligned with our global growth vision.
  • You will drive expansion of warehousing capacity (bonded + domestic) and integrated distribution solutions.
  • In addition, you will scale IOR/EOR services (India–US, India–Africa, India–Middle East).
  • Key verticals include chemicals, steel, automotive, and defense.
  • Strong focus on project logistics and 4PL control tower solutions leveraging proprietary SCM platforms is also required.
  • Furthermore, you will expand and strengthen road logistics and partial truckload services, integrating warehousing and distribution for high-margin domestic solutions.
  • Maintenance of regulatory compliance, including DG/chemical/defense norms, is essential.
  • Your team will consist of a multi-city, high-performance unit with structured KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a senior leader in logistics or a related field is mandatory.
  • A deep understanding of Indian market dynamics, logistics infrastructure, and regulatory environment is required.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Candidates must be able to adapt to fast-paced environments, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An MBA or equivalent degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with proprietary SCM platforms and control tower solutions is an added advantage.
