Job Title: Big Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer who is passionate about working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.

  • We are looking for someone with strong experience in Hadoop Architecture, including HDFS, MapReduce, and YARN.
  • You should have hands-on knowledge of how Database systems and SQL querying work.
  • Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and programming languages such as Java and Scala is essential.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CICD), is also required.
  • You should be able to design and implement scalable and high-performance data pipelines using tools like Hive and Impala.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop and Spark.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines using tools like Hive and Impala.
