Job Title: Big Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, develop and implement large-scale data engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will be part of a fast-paced team focused on delivering cutting-edge technology and product roadmaps.

The team is responsible for developing marketing campaign tracking capabilities using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL, PySpark, GCP, Big Query, Data Proc, Hive, Kafka & Java.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, solves problems, debugs, evaluates, modifies, deploys, and documents software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end-user applications.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing.
  • Strong programming knowledge in SQL, PySpark, Data Proc, and Big Query.
  • Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive).
  • Understanding and experience with UNIX / Shell / Perl / Python scripting, database query optimization and indexing, web services design and implementation using REST / SOAP and Java.
  • Experience collaborating with the business to drive requirements/Agile story analysis.
  • Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate.
