Rug Design Professional

We are a manufacturer of contemporary design Hand Made carpets in India. Our office is located in Delhi and we have our manufacturing facilities in Panipat and Bhadohi.

As a Rug Designer, you will be responsible for creating modern rug designs using various materials such as cotton, wool, and jute. You will work on pitloom, punja & kelim looms and hand tufted and modern hand knotted carpets.

The ideal candidate should be an independent-minded, self-motivated, confident and performance-oriented personality with a degree or diploma in designs and minimum 2-3 years experience in carpet techniques and software knowledge such as Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Indesign and Galaincha.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed plans for creative direction across different product lines.
  • Share concept ideas for themes and collections to develop.
  • Develop designs for the themes in appropriate qualities and textures of collections identified.
  • Stay updated with new ideas of fibers, yarns & weaves for manufacturing.
  • Plan exhibition stand designs with respect to the collections being displayed.
  • Do renderings of rug designs in room settings.
  • Design catalogues.
  • Design posts for social media.
  • Travel to factories and exhibitions as required.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in designs.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in carpet techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Indesign, etc.
  • Galaincha software knowledge preferred.
