Design and Develop Products

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products in the form of devices, assemblies, or systems. You will validate your designs to ensure they meet all required technical specifications.

The position requires working independently as well as mentoring others. You will be located at Chandigarh Pune.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate customer inquiries, specifications, and study all inputs available for a product or design problem.
  • Design equipment to match specifications, including concept creation, detailed design, design calculations, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials, and product-related technical documents.
  • Establish design approach, estimate time for execution, and schedule activities.
  • Refine and improve product designs by evaluating current designs and developing new solutions.
  • Interpret and use industry codes and standards relevant to the product being designed.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis of complex problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have a graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum four years of relevant industry experience or post-graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum two years of relevant industry experience.

  • Intermediate to expert-level user of SolidWorks and PLM PDM software.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the relevant mechanical industry codes and standards.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and any calculation software.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
