Credit Risk Specialist Role

This position involves assessing the financial health of borrowers and making informed decisions about credit risk.

  • Conduct thorough credit analyses of companies across various industries, evaluating factors such as capital structure, debt levels, and cash flow projections.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast company performance, assess creditworthiness, and identify potential risks.
  • Create clear and concise reports to communicate credit analysis findings to stakeholders, informing investment decisions and portfolio management strategies.
  • Monitor existing credit exposures and update models in response to changes in market conditions, industry trends, and company-specific events.
  • Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and develop strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled insights into credit research workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in credit analysis, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Strong academic background; CFA, CPA, or MBA in Finance preferred.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and credit risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with high-yield, distressed, and investment-grade markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex credit analysis into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
