Senior Associate Credit Job Overview

This is a senior-level credit position that plays a pivotal role in supporting our lending team with underwriting, credit analysis, and transaction execution.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or underwriting and possess strong analytical skills. They should also be able to work effectively as part of a global team while maintaining high attention to detail across multiple transactions simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Memo Preparation: The successful candidate will draft clear, accurate, and comprehensive credit memos for transactions.
  • Loan Term Sheet Management: They will prepare, review, and analyze loan term sheets to ensure timely and efficient deal execution.
  • Financial and Credit Analysis: Conducting financial and credit analysis to support underwriting decisions is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Assist in identifying and assessing risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the US lending team to ensure effective communication and coordination across deals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 3–7 years of credit analysis / underwriting experience with financial institutions, lenders, or investment managers.
  • Candidate Preferences: Prior experience in investor relations is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in credit fundamentals are essential.
  • Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills and ability to prepare professional reports and memos.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Real Estate Debt Exposure: Exposure to real estate debt is highly preferred, and proficiency in financial modeling is a significant advantage.
About the Role

As a fully remote position based in India, you must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams. Your schedule should align with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
