A Senior Data Engineer is sought after to join our team of data scientists and architects in creating scalable solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust, high-quality data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure SQL Server. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to enable analytics and ML use cases, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance through governance practices and secure schema design.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 7 years of experience in data engineering or design.
- 5+ years of experience in ML Lifecycle using Azure Kubernetes service, Azure Container Instance service, Azure Data Factory, Azure Monitor, Azure DataBricks.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering using Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL and one other programming language.
Strong experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD tools, and agile/scrum operating experience is required. Collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong passion for innovative data solutions are essential qualities for this role.
