Engine Technician Role

This position involves delivering high-quality customer service while executing complex engine repairs at customer sites. The candidate must have extensive field experience with engine products and possess expert-level knowledge of engine systems, diagnostics, and repairs.

The ideal candidate will be able to establish and maintain productive customer relationships, ensuring prompt attention to their needs. They will also use specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and perform complex repairs on engines and related components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisors.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior technicians in the transfer of knowledge and work direction.
  • Reviewing repair plans, parts lists, and other necessary documentation.
  • Completing all required service documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Apprentice-Trained Engine Technician.
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Mandatory: Locally valid driving permit.

Work Environment:

This role involves working primarily in a field environment, with occasional travel to various customer sites. A clean and well-maintained service vehicle is essential for this position.
