Job Opportunity

A high-voltage inverter mechanical design engineer is required to lead the mechanical aspects of designing and developing high-voltage inverters.

This role necessitates a profound understanding of HV inverter mechanical design and development, encompassing knowledge of high voltage inverter components such as power modules, DC link capacitors, EMC filters, and shielding. The successful candidate will also possess expertise in Unigraphics NX software and be able to perform advanced simulations on structural and thermal topics.

In addition to technical skills, this position requires exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.
  • Familiarity with HV Inverter Mechanical Design and development.
  • Balanced knowledge on clearances and creepage distances.
  • Basic understanding of High voltage Inverter components like Power modules, DC Link capacitor, EMC filter, Shielding's.
  • Knowledge on basic simulations on Structural, Thermal, etc.
  • Advanced/expert in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, DMU).
  • Excellent drafting knowledge and best practices of the drafting according to the international standards.
  • Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
