Job Description

We require a highly motivated and analytical individual to support our investment team in sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, and assisting in deal execution and portfolio management.

  • Investment Research and Sourcing Support: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through comprehensive research and preliminary outreach.
  • Due Diligence Assistance: Collaborate with the team to conduct financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals.
  • Investment Process Support: Prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Portfolio Support: Track performance and impact metrics, and conduct basic analyses for portfolio companies to optimize returns.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Coordinate our presence at industry events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players.

Qualifications and Attributes

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or a related field from a premier institution.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills specific to early-stage investments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
