Job Description

The Asset Management (AM) Risk Management team is dedicated to delivering exceptional risk management solutions, maintaining a robust system of controls and providing guidance on proactive risk management across the Asset Management business. We are a dynamic and growing team working in fast-paced and ever-changing market environments, leveraging cutting-edge financial technology to provide innovative banking solutions.

We are seeking an Investment Risk Associate within the AM Risk Management Team to play a critical role in ensuring robust risk management practices across various risk disciplines, including investment risk, liquidity risk, ESG risk, and counterparty risk. As part of our team, you will work closely with investment teams and other control functions, providing oversight and proactive management of risks while staying up-to-date with the latest financial market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor emerging risks and their potential impact on the business
  • Perform deep dives, including analysis of stress tests, liquidity profiles, sustainability characteristics, performance, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Carry out investigations and escalate risk triggers
  • Lead risk management initiatives to enhance control, oversight, and monitoring of risks
  • Liaise with business partners, such as Investment Directors and Portfolio Managers, on risk reviews and present risk measures in governance forums
