Cloud Architect Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end Azure solutions across IaaS and PaaS layers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end Azure solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • High-Level Architecture Diagrams and Implementation Plans: Define high-level architecture diagrams and low-level implementation plans to support effective solution deployment.
  • Core IaaS Components: Architect and deploy core IaaS components, including Azure VMs, Availability Sets/Zones, Load Balancers, NSGs, VPN Gateways, and Azure Bastion.
  • Hybrid Networking: Design and implement hybrid networking using ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, and Azure DNS.
  • Disaster Recovery, Backup, and High Availability Solutions: Plan and manage disaster recovery (DR), backup, and high availability solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Modern Application Stacks: Design and implement modern application stacks using App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years of IT Experience: Proven experience in IT with at least 5 years in Azure cloud architecture.
  • Azure IaaS Experience: Strong experience in Azure IaaS services, including VMs, VNets, NSG, Load Balancer, and Azure Files.
  • Azure PaaS Services: Expertise in Azure PaaS services, such as App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
  • Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Cloud Security, Networking, Identity, and Governance Frameworks: Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, identity, and governance frameworks.
  • CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps Practices: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
